Marysia Nikitiuk, Ukrainian publicist, theatre critic, dramatist and novelist, was born in 1986 in Russia. She studied Journalism Studies at the Ukrainian National University Taras Shevchenko and Theatre Studies at the Karpenko Karyi University. She founded the not-for-profit Internet magazine TEATRE.com.ua, which is dedicated to contemporary Ukrainian, Russian and European Theatre; she has since worked for the magazine as chief editor and theatre critic. Besides these activities, Marysia Nikitiuk is a theatre critic for various Ukrainian newspapers and magazines like 24, SHO or TOP-10.
